Apprenticeship Talk at Netherhall School

Is it your first time volunteering with us? Click here

If you have not volunteered with us before you will need to complete our Volunteer Registration Form before signing up to this event. This will only take 2 minutes and afterwards you'll be able to come back to this page to sign up for the event.

Discuss with students their options after GCSEs or sixth-form and college

These events help students learn how apprenticeships work. The role of the volunteer is to explain how apprenticeships can offer an alternative to full-time education that students can choose after GCSEs or A-levels. We particularly welcome current and former apprentices who can talk through their own experience.

This event needs to be led by a member of staff who can give an overview of the apprenticeships that your organisation can offer, supported by a current apprentice. The lead staff member provides an overview of what apprenticeships are and what young people need to know about them; the apprentice then shares some of their own experience and answers questions from the students.

If this is your first event with us, please create a profile on our portal, it should only take a couple of minutes to sign up - https://www.formthefuture.org.uk/register/ (Info video how to sign up).
