A hands -on challenge\, designed to help pupils practice a nd recognise the value of transferrable skills inc luding teamwork\, leadership\, problem solving and communication.
Ambassadors each support a class of students\, broken into smaller teams\, as they compete against one another to build a build a tower using only spaghetti and marshmallows wit hin a set time period.
During the activity\ , you will help the students think about how to ap proach the task and introduce an extra challenge t o get them using their transferable skills. Once t he task has been completed and a winner is declare d\, each team reflects on what went well and how t he members of their group have demonstrated transf errable skills… or could have done better!
The Ambassador then shares a short presentation an d Q&A\, explaining how they use the transferrable skills explored today\, in their own role and ever yday work.
