 eople are often unaware of the diversity of career
  options. This event helps to broaden their horizo
 ns by turning the usual career talk upside down. S
 tudents will be asking employers a series of quest
 ions as they try to guess what they do for work. B
 ased in classrooms and requiring no preparation\, 
 volunteers will answer students' questions as they
  work towards guessing the career. Whether they ge
 t it right or wrong\, the volunteer will ultimatel
 y provide an overview of what they do\, how they g
 ot there and what they enjoy about their job. You 
 will typically rotate through 3-4 classrooms throu
 ghout the event. </p><p><strong>Please Note: </str
 ong></p><ul><li>We are looking for volunteers from
  a variety of industries and backgrounds to take p
 art in this activity. Due to the nature of the act
 ivity we cannot have two people who do the same jo
 b taking part. If it happens to be the case that s
 omeone who does the same job as you has registered
  for the event already\, we will not be able to re
 gister you to attend.</li><li>We are unable to off
 er slots to education providers to talk about cour
 ses. An exception would be if you are representing
  your role\, rather than talking about education p
 athways.</li></ul><p>If you or someone from your o
 rganisation is available\, please register for mor
 e information about the event.  </p><p>This event 
 will support schools in working towards achieving 
 <i>Gatsby Benchmark 5: Encounters with employers a
 nd employees</i>. Research from the Education and 
 Employers Taskforce shows that a young person who 
 has four or more meaningful encounters with an emp
 loyer is 86% less likely to be unemployed or not i
 n education or training and can earn up to 22% mor
